Deck repair and addition Addition (expand footprint). - Deck repair and expand deck by 2'I am replacing the existing decking boards on the deck. While doing so I want to make the deck square instead of the deck following the the shape of the back of the house. - In 2 areas I want to extend the deck out by 2 ft to make the outer part of the deck a straight line. - The new 6x6 post will be installed on top of a 16x16x16 inch footer for future possibility for screened porch.
