Renovation for Providence Group Capital - Previously there was a garage/business on the existing site that was damaged by storm. The original building collapsed from the storm. This project is a new building that is located within the perimeter of the existing concrete slab that is still in place. The owner has been advised by Land Development per zoning section 7.103(7) that where a non-conforming structure is destroyed by weather the structure may be repaired or restored to its original dimensions and conditions. This project is the replacement of the original building. This building is within the footprint of the original concrete slab and within the height of the original building. The structural design upgrades the footings around the perimeter of the building. The building is a wood frame structure with wood trusses at the roof. The design of the building is a lodge/meeting hall with a meeting room, kitchen and bathroom. There is an outdoor screened in porch. The building design and structure comply with the current codes.
