Deck Staircase addition Addition (footprint not expanded). - Deck Staircase addition SCOPE OF WORK:- Adding exterior staircase with a mid-landing to an existing 124? high deck. - The staircase will consist of two runs: the upper run will descend to a 40? ? 40? landing, after which the lower run will turn 90 degrees and continue to ground level. - New concrete footings will be installed to support the landing posts.- Existing decking boards will be removed and replaced with composite decking. - The existing joists and framing will remain unchanged and will not be replaced or modified.- No changes will be made to the deck?s structure, footprint, roofline, or any enclosed space. The approximate total added unheated area is 60 sq. ft.NOTE: * The option ?Enclose Existing Deck ? Screen Porch Only? was selected due to a system requirement. * This project does not involve enclosing the deck or adding a screen porch.
